Among them, the proper selection of refractory materials in shuttle kilns is the key to ensuring the quality of the kiln. The gas shuttle kiln lining currently used in the ceramic industry can be roughly divided into the following three forms:
The innermost layer of the shuttle kiln lining is made of 230mm thick lightweight heat insulation. The outer layer is made of 70-100mm thick ordinary aluminum silicate fiber material for heat preservation. The outermost layer is made of steel welded frame and covered with steel plates. To protect its internal refractory materials. The top of the shuttle kiln is made of wedge-shaped bricks to form an arched structure, and the lightweight heat-insulating bricks used are also high-aluminum or mullite light-weight heat-insulating materials. This material is used as the lining of the gas shuttle kiln, except that it consumes a little more fuel than the first type in the firing process, and in other aspects, it is basically the same as the all-fiber kiln, especially if the application is better.
